1) About
-----------------------------
CheckOnIt allows you to monitor your Handango PocketPC purchases for updated versions. 
It does require a connection to the Internet from the PocketPC, 
but is designed to still function while offline.

CheckOnIt is designed to run on a PocketPC 2002/2003 device that has an internet connection. This
means that your PocketPC must have one of the following...
- a wired LAN card
- a wireless LAN/WAN card
- a modem card
- a bluetooth connection to an internet enabled device
- or is a PocketPC 2002/2003 device using ActiveSync's Pass Through connection

2) INSTALLATION
-----------------------------

To install CheckOnIt, simply run CheckOnItPPC101.exe.  If performing 
a reinstall, you can simply use the new installer to perform the reinstall. 
After installing, you should restart your PocketPC, make sure the 
device is connect to the internet, and then configure CheckOnIt.

Once installation is complete, CheckOnIt will consist of a several critical files...
On PocketPC device
  CheckOnIt.exe - PocketPC application
  scripts\*.nrt - parsing script files
  cache\*.xml - sample source files
  help\*.htm - help files

3) CONFIGURING

- To Configure the PocketPC device(after installation)...
	1 - On your PocketPC, goto Start->Programs->CheckOnIt
	2 - Configure Network Settings: Options|Network Connection
	3 - Add a Product: File|Add Product

4) UNINSTALLING
-----------------------------
To uninstall CheckOnIt, do the following steps...
1 - Close CheckOnIt.
2 - On Desktop, Open ActiveSync, select Tools|Add/Remove Programs from menu
3 - Select CheckOnIt to remove from your PocketPC device.

5) Known Limitations
------------------------------
- Requires direct connection to internet(from device) to download data, 
	unless you are using PocketPC 2002/2003 and ActiveSync 3.5/3.7.
- Might take a minute or so for connection to timeout when trying to connect to
	a web server that is running slowly.
- Might not work with all types of proxy servers.
